ASP’s Quality Management system is third party certified to ISO 9001:2008. This is the accepted standard worldwide for management systems and ensures ASP are able provide a process approach to the management of projects of all sizes and complexities, to ensure regulatory compliance and customer expectations are always met.
Management of WHS is a critical aspect of ASP’s operations. This is evidenced by our certification to AS 4801-2001 (Occupational Health and Safety Systems). All projects are carried out under a detailed Project OHS Plan, thorough risk assessments and the involvement of all employees and subcontractors. Providing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and contractors is a commitment we take very seriously.
ASP’s Environmental Management System is third party certified to ISO 14001:2004. All projects are carried out under a comprehensive EMP to ensure that works have minimal effect on the surrounding environment. We recognise the challenges facing the asbestos removal industry and community at large. We are committed to implementing effective environmental practices to promote sustainability across all aspects of its operations.
The Association was formed in 1984 and facilitated by the Building Owners and Managers Assocaition (BOMA) whose members sought to idenfity specialist contractors who could reliably perform the difficult and hazardous work of asbestos removal, often necessary during renovation and demolition.
